They allow you to get plants deeper into the substrate so plants can absorb nutrients and form a strong root structure. These particular tweezers are curved at the end to get plants into even the smallest spaces and for more control while planting at an angle. This is especially useful if you have a deep tank.

These tweezers are 10.5 inches long and are shipped in a plastic sleeve.
To clean the tweezers after usage, simply rinse with clean water while making sure not to use any soap or other cleaning chemicals that may potentially harm your aquarium fish. Wipe them dry afterwards.
